The 148th Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society, held in Atlantic City, NJ, was a success. It was great to see old colleagues and meet new people doing great science. The Wagner Lab presented two oral presentations and two posters. See you next year in Reno, NV.

This week our research on the ecology and conservation of eastern brook trout was highlighted as part of an upcoming film - Expedition Chesapeake, A Journey of Discovery. Expedition Chesapeake examines the linkages between the millions of people that live in the watershed and the plants, fish, and wildlife that inhabit the amazing and diverse habitats of this national treasure. This film, hosted by Jeff Corwin, is set to hit the giant-screen in 2019. Thanks to Greg, Tom, and the entire film crew for a memorable day on the water.
